Nikola Tesla - Biography of a Suppressed Legend Inventor

Nikola Tesla (1856-1943)

the great dedictor who gave his all lives for the benefit of the world human society and no one now gonna know his name. Even I feel shame to know about him just one year back, being Electrical engineering student. He was the man who brought alternating current to the world, that's why we are now able to light bulbs, run washing machine, heater in our home. we are today able to consume electricity without knowing where and how is the electricity being generated. How is this possible? all credit goes to Mr. Nikola Tesla who discovered ac current to transmit it to such a longer distance thats's why we are consuming it far away from the generating station.

The man need to be saluted that in his first attempt of electricity generation, he used renewable source i.e hydropower without using fossils fuels. All his inventions were nature friendly i.e they don't harm to natural balance. And we are still following the scientists whose inventions were the main cause of globle warming.

What a clear vision Tesla had. He invented wireless communication what brings world people close, but the credit goes to another person. What a injustice to the real inventor. He never boasted himself as a inventor. he prefered to call himself as a discoverer, as he believed all things have already been invented by the nature and what he did is only he discovered. He spent all his life in research, being isolated from the worldy happiness, but what he got from the world is just discouragement and suppression. He was never awarded novel prize. one time in 1915, Tesla was mentioned in newspaper as a Novel Prize winner, but didn't awarded. People thought him as a mad scientist, because what he spoke about and what he did during his era was far beyond the limit of understanding. His thought that time were like today's. And credit goes to him for us to have such a progress in the field of technology now. But none is ready to accredit him as he has been forgotten by almost all. But remember he was the only scientist to be praised by Einstein.

Birth of Tesla

Tesla was born on July 10, 1956 of Serbian parents on the eastern edge of the Austro-Hungerian empire in what is today Croatia. He was born in a middle class family. His father was a Priest.

Nature of Tesla

Tesla was very much piecefull. He never got married as he had a great respect to the woman and he didn't think himself to deserve beauty of woman. He has a kind of phobia from crowd, loud noise, perfume and so on. He was very much consistent in whatever he used to do.

Education

After studying at the Realschule, Karlstadt (later renamed the Johann-Rudolph-Glauber Realschule Karlstadt); the Polytechnic Institute in Graz, Austria; and the University of Prague during the 1870s, Tesla moved to Budapest, where for a time he worked at the Central Telephone Exchange. He used to study hard. He never missed any class during his student age. It was believed that teachers were amazed from his hard working.

Meeting with Thomas Alva Edison

In 1882, he went to America in order to meet Edison by the recommendation from Edison's assistant where a sentence was written in the letter,"I know two legends, one is you and another is Tesla". Tesla met edition and worked for the Dc generator of Edison for few days, and Tesla proposed ac generator but Edison expired him from job.

War of current: ac vs dc

tesla received patent for his ac generator and he was financially backed by Westinghouse. Tesla was banned to use the light bulb of Edition company, thats why he invented his own tubes and bulbs. He surpised people by dazzling whole city from his alternating current. On the other hand, the co-workers of Edition electrocuted innocent animals to scare people from using ac current. But, finally Tesla generated electricity from Niagra Falls and provided electricity to the whole city.

Wireless transmission
Wardenclyffe Tower

Tesla had a new concept of transmission electricity without wires. He worked on it and spent much of his time on wireless transmission experiment. He made Tesla coil, Wardenclyffe tower and many demonstrations of wireless transmission. He amazed people by controlling a ship from remote controller without wires. Finally, his concept was copied and enlarged by Marconi who received novel prize for radio communication. Tesla was thinking of distributing electricity to all over the world for free without wires. This concept was not liked by his financial supporter which made Tesla to quit his wireless power transmission project. If he wasn't betrayed by financier, we would see today's world a different.

The oscillator

once Tesla was working with a mechanical oscillator, he tied it to a rod of the building and tuned it to the natural frequency of the building. What he observed was the vibration of the building like earthquake. he calculated the frequency of earth from his experiment. He destroyed the oscillator
concluding that the earthquake can be controlled by his technique.

The death ray

During the end of his life, invention of death-ray by Tesla was published in the New York Times. That time, world war was dominating the world. Tesla was the man who proposed that weak countries should be strong to stop the war. That's why, he invented Death-ray. Death-ray is the beam of electricity projected so as to destroy the war-jets from far away.

know about death-ray in detail here:

Extraterrestrial communication

One time, Tesla claimed that he received signals from extra-terrestrial life beyond our planet.

X-ray invention

Tesla already invented x-ray from his high-frequency electricity, but the credit went to Brag. Why?

The Ionosphere

It has not been more that 3 decades the discovery of various levels of atmosphere. But, Tesla alredy knew about the ionosphere in his time. he believed that electricity can be transmitted wirelessly through the ionosphere.

Death of Tesla

Tesla died penniless in the hotel New-Yorker in 1943.

Tesla's stolen papers

soon after he died, all of his scientific papers of inventions were stolen and has been a mystery yet.
